What You’ll Do:

  • Work with business owners and product managers to define requirements and timelines as well as lead cross-functional, geographically diverse development teams through design, delivery, management and support.
  • Lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between many internal , Kindle and comiXology teams to develop and deploy optimal solutions for comics in all forms across comiXology and Kindle worldwide.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope including budget planning, scheduling and strategy. Identify required resources, assign and track tasks and responsibilities
  • Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, help gain buy-in from leaders and groups you don’t control and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones.
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit.
  • Partner with QA to ensure that all products and services are delivered to a high standard

The TED Team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer with Full-stack, Java Development, and Microservices background to build next generation platform features that support the Veritas cloud platform strategy. Partnering with Technical Directors, Product, Program and Engineering teams, you will drive the development on end-to-end microservices, containerization within the Veritas Data Services layer while using the latest technologies to shape the future of data management. The ideal candidate is a Full-stack Java Developer with Database (SQL/NoSQL) skills with a broad background and understanding of CI/CD ecosystem and strong ability in the areas of process development, organization, planning, and communication.
