Join a global law firm as an Employment Transactions Attorney supporting corporate and private equity matters through a Professional Track Attorney program. This role is ideal for attorneys with company-side labor and employment experience who want to expand into transactional work. The position includes comprehensive training, exposure to sophisticated client matters, and opportunities to participate in pro bono initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct employment-related diligence in M&A transactions
- Draft, review, and manage employment agreements and legal documents
- Advise on day-to-day company-side labor and employment matters
- Analyze complex legal issues and apply legal principles to business scenarios
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, and firm professionals
- Manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in client meetings, calls, and team initiatives
- Travel as needed for client or firm requirements
- Build professional relationships and anticipate client needs
What We’re Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
- 2–4 years of company-side labor and employment law experience
- Experience supporting employment matters in M&A transactions preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing demands under tight deadlines
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong project management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Interest in corporate and private equity transactional work
Compensation: $150,000–$300,000
